Kalbarri Western Australia

Travelling north from Perth Kalbarri is the first major overnight point for many people.
It’s roughly 590km north of Perth and sits on the coast at the mouth of the Murchison river.
Prior to getting there you will have gone through places like Lancelin, Nambung National Park or better known as the “Pinnacles”, Cervantes, Jurien Bay, Dongara and Geraldton.
Kalbarri national park is the main attraction here for backpackers and includes places with names like Nature’s window, Z bend etc…
Here it is all about geology and rock formations.
Check out some of the photos in the gallery for an idea of what it is like.
